We are a small private company that cares about you as a fine art connoisseur. We will personally handle your artwork order, corresponding between both you and the artist throughout the entire ordering process. Before we ever charge your credit card we'll contact you to confirm your final total. This lets us review your purchase details and enables us to keep in touch with you in case any questions/concerns should arise. Becoming a client with us provides us with your information and provides you with a login and password to make future purchases with us as easy as possible. ARTONLINE Resources only uses the information you provided within the company to make the purchase as easy as possible. Our online system will not retain your credit card details; however will keep your shipping/billing address on file for future reference.
In order to provide a secure purchase for both our client and our artist, we require your card details at the time of order; however, your credit card is not charged until the shipping costs are confirmed with the artist and agreed upon by you.
Our system will estimate shipping costs based on information given by the artist and your location. For international orders or orders with incomplete information we will need to calculate shipping with the artist. This may take a day or two; however we will be in contact with you (via email or phone) throughout the entire process.
Once you have agreed to the final total (including shipping and appropriate insurance) via email or phone we will charge your card. We hold the funds until you have received the artwork and had a three business day decision period. Once the sale is final we release the funds to the artist.
Once the charge has gone through we provide the artist with your shipping information and ask him/her to ship directly to you. This keeps shipping costs to a minimum. The artist knows best how to ship his/her work and chooses the most secure shipping method for his/her personal artwork; however the shipping method is usually confirmed with the shipping quote. We ask that the artist send us a tracking number, to provide to you and to track online. The length of time for shipping varies based on the location of the artist and the buyer and if the work is available right away to be shipped. Occasionally a work is included in an exhibition and cannot be shipped until the exhibition comes down. With any unusual circumstances we will make sure to keep you informed and will not charge your card until everything has been confirmed with you about the shipment.
Once we confirm that you have received the artwork (either by online tracking or direct contact from you) you have three business days to notify us of any problems. If you are unhappy with the artwork or if there are any discrepancies please notify us within three business days. After three business days of confirming receipt of artwork we will consider the sale final.
1. If you choose to return an item you first need to inform us within three business days. Then you will need to re-package the artwork in the original package it arrived in and send it back to the artist. Buyer pays for duties, customs applicable taxes including costs for shipping work back to the artist. Once we have confirmed that the artist has received the artwork back in good condition (either by online tracking confirmation or with direct communication with the artist) we will credit your credit card for the total original charge. This charge will include the original shipping estimate from the artist to the Buyer.
